Photographer, Sculptor, Artist
San Francisco
Artist, Photographer, Sculptor, Designer, BIO - Thomas Kuoh was born in Taipei Taiwan in 1978. His Parents had escaped from Communist China 30 years prior, and immigrated to the United States in 1988 in search of the American dream. They settled in San Jose California in a predominately Taiwanese Christian Community where scholastics and love for Jesus was the main focus. In his 20s Thomas voraciously accumulated knowledge about a variety of subjects ranging from Tibetan Buddhism, Hinduism, Taoism, Shamanic practices and the use of sacraments, new-age spirituality, yoga, tantra, music, dance, spiritual philosophy, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, psychology and much more. Thomas’ work continues to explore the balance of his cultural lineage and personal expression, creating and understanding his own identity as a first generation Chinese American Artist.
